Lightworks is a group of fine art photographers who meet monthly to help each other become better artists. This blog site is part of that process where members post images and provide insights about their work.
At first I thought, what the hell is this? After spending a little quality time with the image I see an ironic/sarcastic (not Larry?) juxtaposition of a priest, actually two priests, holy men as it were, behind bars (where many rightly belong) bestowing a blessing on god-knows-what, and an unlit neon sign calling one's attention to an alcoholic beverage and a half-hidden poster inviting one to participate in the fun and debauchery of a Renaissance themed carnival. Oh, the sinful possibilities!
