Abstract #1 - Stuart Koretz Some photographs of real things seem more abstract than real, and the viewer is encouraged to let their mind search the image for metaphorical meaning.
The image is primordial, subterranean, and organic with its layers suggesting a sense of time. The roots are like strings, but to what and where? I imagine you can ask 100 people about the image resulting in that many different responses. That is the nature of abstracts.
